We will stand by members who lose their jobs

The YMCA is extending our hand to those in need in these times of financial crisis. Our own quantitative community survey has found that 55% of Victorians are worried or anxious by the impact of the Global Financial Crisis.

YMCA Victoria Chief Executive Peter Burns has announced that effective from this Sunday 21 June 2009 the YMCA “will do all that we can to refuse applications to cancel memberships from members who experience job loss, by offering up to three months free membership if they have lost their job”.
